Hickory High School has produced some alumni whose names you may recognize, such as David Wright of the New York Mets who was also a five time Major League All Star, Marjorie Owens who is an Opera singer, and Daniel Combs, a PGA Golfer and Bass Fishing Champion.

    Ravenna is a nice community. I live in the community across the street. Sometimes I think they need a stop light out there with the school traffic and all, but I still think it is a great community, and now that I think about it, Ravenna doesn’t have issues with needing a light, because most of them are turning right towards civilization… It is my side of the road that needs the light! I would buy a house in Ravenna if I hadn’t already owned one across the street.
