After twenty-five years in the trucking industry, Cecil earned his real estate license in 1990, as a part-time financial supplement. Within a few months, the company where he worked as Terminal Manager closed the business without any advance notice. Cecil became a full-time real estate agent and grossed the highest sales in the company during that first year of his career at Key Realty in Virginia Beach.

Cecil thoroughly enjoys the interaction with people that real estate provides and the ability to guide each individual from the initial first-time meeting throughout the process to closing and handing over their new keys. He thrives on the challenges – and sometimes the chaos – of helping each family find the perfect home to suit their needs.

Cecil is an agent at Keffer Realty because of the confidence he has in its owner, Alan Keffer, with whom he has been acquainted and worked with on transactions throughout his real estate career. Cecil felt the company would reflect the standard of integrity and professionalism he would be proud to be a part of.

In the beginning of his career, Cecil’s specialty was the sale of HUD homes. In the current market and with thirty years of experience in sales and property management, Cecil embraces all facets of residential sales while putting forth his best efforts for each and every person who requests his help.

Cecil is the father of 5 adult children, grandfather of 8, and great-grandfather of 5 and it is for them that he has devoted his career with the help and support of his wife Sandra. While all transactions are rewarding, Cecil particularly enjoys the guidance he can provide his own family members in acquiring their dream homes as they are ready to do so.
